Also referred to as stationary mount cranes or static mount cranes, these are heavy duty - high production loaders that are used in applications with very high duty cycles.

These machines are specially designed to operate for long periods under challenging conditions.

Some typical examples are in scrap metal applications where it will be used to feed a baling machine, a shear or shredder with high production output.

It is also commonly used in log yards where high volumes of timber logs need to be fed into a sawmill for example. 

Often, these tasks are performed by mobile machinery with diesel engines like excavators or wheeled loaders.

Due to the static nature of the machine, the risk posed by mobile heavy machinery is also drastically reduced.
